Accidents happen and on a hot summer day while filming a home in Philadelphia Peter’s crew damage a clients slag glass lamp. Going above and beyond Peter purchased another shade to adjust the damages but the client was not ready for a substitute. Later Peter found my skills on the internet and explored the possibilities of restoring the original Bradley and Hubbard style slag glass lamp. Just shy of a full restoration involving re painting the frame. Peter offered to have me repair past repairs and put his clients slag glass lamp shade back together.

All lamp restoration projects are unique but some are more challenging and rewarding. Since 1978 I have been specializing in bending glass and became an antique lamp restoration craftsman in the process. Reproducing metal work, restoring metal work, rewiring lighting fixtures and still bending rare hard to find colored glass. Above are just a few projects I have enjoyed working on and saving the memories for my clients.
