I was given this beautiful 1930’s slag lamp as a gift from my grandmother over 25 years ago. We were shopping at an antique shop & we saw this hanging up.   I was in my early 20’s & we both loved it so much she bought it as an early wedding present. I think it was an excuse to buy it for me 🙂  It even came with the matching wall mount.  It has been in a box after all these years & my grandmother has since passed away.  I didn’t have the perfect place to put it until my boyfriend made me a She Shed & I thought this would be the perfect spot to enjoy it & she would of LOVED it!

     After 25 years of being boxed up one of the petals broke when it was being pulled out.  My world turned upside down.  It was not replaceable.  I thought it would be impossible to find someone to make another piece. I found Len online & emailed him right away (On a Saturday night) in tears with pictures. He emailed me back the next day (On a Sunday morning!)  & said he could make another piece for me. Could not believe he responded so quickly & had a perfect match of glass.

     As soon as he received it,  he sent pics to let me know it arrived it one piece. He sent me pics that he had the perfect match & sent a pic when he was done. It was completed in less than a week. I was beyond impressed & his craftsmanship was so impressive! Thank you so much Len. It was a pleasure & thank you so much for what you do!
